William E. Cowley, III - Attorney
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Will Cowley grew up in the Highlands before heading to Lexington to attend the University of Kentucky from where he graduated in 2003. After undergrad, Mr. Cowley attended Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky where he earned his law degree in 2007.
Initially, Mr. Cowley worked for several larger Louisville firms where he represented insurance companies against individuals seeking compensation for their injuries. Unsatisfied with his career, Mr. Cowley decided to open the Cowley Law Office where he could fight for individuals and their rights against the insurance companies. He has found this career change to be both challenging and rewarding. Now, he is able to use his unique skills to ensure that victims of others’ negligence and carelessness and their family members receive the maximum compensation to which they are entitled.
David T. Cowley - Attorney
David Cowley is a trial attorney who has spent his entire career fighting for the rights of the injured. He focuses on a wide variety of personal injury claims, including motor vehicle collisions, slip-and-fall and premises liability cases, wrongful death, commercial trucking, and insurance bad faith, among others. He has handled multiple appellate matters and successfully argued before the Kentucky Court of Appeals several times. David prides himself on doing anything he possibly can with assisting his clients following a traumatic injury and being accessible for those in need.
Outside of the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, University of Louisville and Notre Dame athletics, traveling, and playing basketball.
Logan Todd - Attorney
Logan Todd is a personal injury attorney from Shepherdsville, Kentucky. She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 2019. Logan’s legal career focuses on helping others and fighting for justice. At Cowley Law, she can do just that for injured individuals against insurance companies and those alike. She handles civil trial work, including cases involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, general negligence, and bad faith. Outside of the office, Logan loves spending time with her husband and daughter, trying new restaurants, and traveling.
Sarah K. Greenwell - Paralegal/Office Manager
Sarah K. Greenwell has been with the Cowley Law Office since 2013 and remains passionate about helping injured clients get back on their feet. Growing up in Southern Indiana, Sarah now resides with her husband, 2 dogs, and cat in Louisville, KY. Sarah is a member of the Legal Assistants of Louisville and has held numerous board positions within the organization. She is also a a Kentucky Certified Legal Secretary Specialist (KCL§). In her free time, Sarah enjoys traveling, seeing live music, reading, and spending time with her family.
Courtney Burk - Legal Assistant
Courtney Burk joined the team at Cowley Law Office in May 2018 as a legal assistant. Now a case manager, she is committed to helping clients through the claims process. She takes pride in helping those in need and enjoys decorating the office for holidays.
Laura Hill-Haddix - Legal Assistant
Laura is a legal assistant with the Cowley Law Office. She focuses on our client’s treatment, records, managing case files, and organizing complex legal information throughout the personal injury process. Laura has a strong background in client relations, and prides herself in her ability to listen to client needs and solve difficult issues. In her free time, Laura engages in community service, nature walks, and always has a home improvement project in the works.
